Kenneth Cave

Kenneth Ray Cave, 48 of Mt. Vernon and formerly of Carmi passed away Saturday afternoon July 25, 2015 at his home. He was born August 28, 1966 in Vivian, LA the son of Don and Connie (Pierce) Cave. He married Tabetha Gaudern in Carmi, IL.

Kenneth was a Heavy Equipment Operator at the Sitran Loading Facility in Mt. Vernon. Kenneth loved to fish and be outdoors. His biggest love was his wife, children and family.

He is survived by his wife, Tabetha; his children, Evan and Olivia Cave of Mt. Vernon and Stevee Heard of Tulsa, OK; his unborn daughter, Isabel; his parents, Don and Connie Cave of San Angelo, TX; brothers, Clint (Marti ) Cave and Mike (Annette) Cave of Odessa, TX and his sister, Johnna Zellner of Farmington, NM; 3 nieces and 4 nephews and many great-nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his aunt Barbara and a sister, Diane Cave.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday July 29, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon, IN. Friends may call one hour prior to the services at the funeral home. Donations may be made to his children in care of the funeral home.
