Kendall Carter

GRAVESIDE SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT NOON ON SATURDAY JUNE 13, 2020 AT SPRINGERTON CEMETERY.

Kendall O. Carter 79 of Springerton, passed away early Wednesday March 25, 2020 at his home. He was born February 16, 1941 in Springerton, the son of Osborne and Juanita (Rister) Carter.

Kendall worked as a Truck Driver for Roark Trucking. He enjoyed gardening but really just loved being outside.

He is survived by his son, Craig (Amy Degenhardt) Carter; daughters, Kendra (Kip) Russell, Staci Murphy and Kim (Rodger) Mann; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and are awaiting the arrival of number 3; brother, Rick (Lara) Carter; and sister, Barbara (Gary) Denny; his longtime friend, Janna Lankford; aunts, Doris (Buddy) Simpson and Dorothy (Gene) Henson. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

The family will have a Graveside Memorial Service at Noon Saturday June 13, 2020 at Springerton Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the Cancer Society in care of Stendeback Family Funeral Home, 200 S. Walnut St., Carmi, IL.
