Keitha Hon

Keitha W. Hon, 93, of Crossville, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2022.  She was born on November 6, 1928, the Daughter of Victor and Ina (Russell) Wohlueter.  Keitha married Donald E. Hon on December 31, 1949.  She worked as a homemaker and farm wife all of her life.  Keitha was a member of Crossville United Methodist Church, where she participated in Mary's Circle.  She was also a member of  a sewing club.  Keitha enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and was an outstanding cook. Most of all, she enjoyed being with her family.

Keitha is survived by her husband, Donald E. Hon of Crossville, IL; children, Scott (Terry) Hon of Crossville, IL. and Keith (Sara) Hon of Crossville, IL; grandchildren, Olivia Hon, Patrick Hon, Lewis Hon, Kyle Hon, and Nancy Burns; 10 great-grandchildren, plus Baby Boy Hon, due in May; siblings, Saundra Britt, Tony Wohlheuter, and Sharon Sorells.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Victor Wohlhueter and Ina Evans; grandma, Susie Becker, whom she was raised by; grandpa Russell; and her daughter, Bonna Cantrell.

Funeral Services for Keitha Hon, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 27, 2022, at Crossville United Methodist Church with burial at Stokes Chapel Cemetery in Crossville, Illinois.  Family and friends may visit from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2022,  at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, and from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at Crossville United Methodist Church on Sunday, March 27, 2022.  Contributions can be made in Keitha's memory to  the Crossville United Methodist Church and will be accepted by Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
