Keith McArthy, 89, of Enfield, passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at Wabash Senior Living in Carmi. He was born on October 7, 1934 in Enfield the son of Arnot and Pearl (Draper) McArthy. Keith was a 1952 graduate of Norris City High School. He went on to faithfully serve his country in the U.S. Army. Keith married Anna May Stein on June 7, 1959. He was a lifetime farmer and a longtime member of Wesley Chapel Church in Enfield
Keith is survived by his wife of 65 years, Anna May; children, Kevin (Barbara) McArthy of Enfield, Clay (Jen) McArthy of McLeansboro and Troy (Candice) McArthy of LaOtto, IN; grandchildren, Matthew (Courtney) McArthy, Amanda (Brad) Wehlermann, Silas McArthy, Jon (Rosie) O'Daniel and Will O'Daniel; great-grandchildren, Mattie, Macie,and Micah McArthy, Rhett ,Pierce, Bryce (Lindsay) and Brendan (Bailee) Wehlermann and Kelsie (Devin) Vallejo. brother, Lowell (Sue) McArthy and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and three siblings, Lyndell Brown, Darrol McArthy and Evelyth Wright.
Funeral services for Keith Lester McArthy, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with burial following immediately at Old Sharon Cemetery with full millitary honors by the Carmi American Legion and VFW. Family and Friends may visit from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Keith's memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
