Keith Corbett

Keith Corbett, 69, of Norris City, passed away at 9:30 a.m., Thursday, April 16, 2020 at SSM Good Samaritan Hospital in Mt. Vernon, IL.  He was born on August 30, 1950 in  West Newton, PA the son of James Kotrowicz and Mildred Elizabeth (Hepple) Corbett.  Keith retired after 29 years from Trellborg Molded Rubber.  He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed birds and his cat, Spunkie.

Keith is survived by three brothers, Eugene (Shirley) Corbett, of Mt. Vernon, IL and Paul Corbett and Teddy (Jenny) Corbett, all of Norris City; two sisters, Dorothy Lawrence, of Princeton, KY and Sarah (Horace) Garus, of Portage, IN; six grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece, Gwen(Alan) Wurst who helped take care of him. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Elizabeth Corbett; four brothers, Kenneth, Glenn, George and William Corbett and two sisters, Alma Jean Behanna and Barbara Piper.

Due to the National COVID-19 crisis and mandate on gatherings, services for Keith Corbett will be private with burial in Ditney Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made in Keith's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
