Kathy Hornback

Kathy Hornback, 54, of Mt. Vernon and formerly of New Harmony, died Tuesday, February 27, 2006 at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville, IN. Kathy was born September, 10, 1951 in Poseyville, IN. She attended Agape Family Ministries in Mt.Vernon, IN. Kathy was most known for being a loving grandmother to her grandchildren, Shay, Noah, Isaac and Faith Morton and Desiree and Jeffrey Paul DeFur.
In addition to her grandchildren Kathy is also survived by her father, Ercil Carner of Poseyville, IN and her mother and step-father, Rosalie and Raymond Scalf of Riverside, CA; her daughter Kim A. Morton of Mt. Vernon and her son Jeff DeFur of Poseyville, IN. Her brother, Rick Carner of Riverside, CA also survives.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 12:00 Noon at Austin Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with burial in the Maple Hill Cemetery in New Harmony. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Deaconess Hospice or The American Cancer Society.
