Katherine South

Katherine S. South, 80 of Mt. Vernon, IN passed away Saturday July 18, 2014 at Westpark Rehabilitation Center in Evansville. She was born April 12, 1934 in Carmi, IL the daughter of George B. and Daisy Rose (Kimbull) Mick.

Katherine was a retired Health Care Nurse and was a member of the Savah Baptist Church.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Ellen J. Foster, Katherine Rachell Cole both of Mt. Vernon and Sherry Lynn Mueller of Norris City, IL; 2 sons, George Thomas Stephens and Michael Robb; 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosetta A. Steward of FL.

Private family services will be held. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon, IN is in charge of arrangements.
