Julie Melton, 57, of Carmi passed away at 3:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 26, 2017 at her residence. She was born in Elmhurst, IL on June 7, 1960 the daughter of Robert Louis and Patsy Ellen (Moore) Duvall. Julie was a homemaker and a member of the Crossville Missionary Baptist Church.
Julie is survived by her son, Adam Melton, of Carmi; father and stepmother, Bob and Inez Duvall, of Carmi; sisters, Diana (Ferrell) Anderson and Jami (Josh) Tucker both of Carmi; stepbrother, Arthur (Debbie) Koker, of Martin, TN; two stepsisters, Angela (Marty) Carter, of Enfield and Debbie (Dennis) Ruschel, of Claysville, PA; granddaughter, Kayla Melton "Baby Girl" and several nieces, nephews and one great-nephew. She was preceded in death by her mother Pasty Duvall and a son Brent Alan Thomas.
Funeral services for Julie Melton, 57, of Carmi will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi; Burial will be in Kingdom Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be on December 2, 2017 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Julie's memory to favorite charity and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home who is in charge of arrangements.
