Judy Boyd

Judy Carol Boyd, 73 of Norris City, passed away Saturday evening September 5, 2015 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born June 7, 1942 in Livingston, TN the daughter of Carnis and Clarice (Pryor) Stover. She married James Boyd on September 3, 1966.

Judy had worked as a Nurses aid for many years. Mostly at the Carmi Skilled Care Unit. She loved her flowers and was proud to show them off. She also enjoyed fishing. She attended the Enfield General Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband, Jim; her son, Curtiss (Farrah) Boyd of Norris City; her granddaughter, Madison Boyd; brother, Riley (Barbara) Stover of Joliet and sisters, Ann (Larry) Kisner and Udean (Kenny) Paul all of Carmi. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Jay and Corbet Stover.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday September 10, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Braden Willis officiating. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery.
