Juanita Jeffries

Juanita “Lynn” (Jackson) Jeffries, 51 of Mt. Vernon, Indiana died Saturday, November 17, 2007

Lynn was born October 4, 1956 to Roy and Lillie Jackson in Evansville and was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Vernon High School. Lynn worked as a Technician for GE - SABIC Innovation Plastics for 26 years most recently in the Ultem Resins Polymer operation.

She enjoyed 4-wheeling, boating and sunbathing, singing karaoke with her good friend, Connie on the house boat.

She is survived by, her husband Gordon Jeffries of 10 years

One step-son, Brent Jeffries of Mt. Vernon, IN

One step-daughter, Sal-Leigh Jeffries of Mt. Vernon, IN

Two sisters, Peggy Lee Horacek and husband, Roger of Mt. Vernon
Patty Ann Adkins of Florida

Three nephews, Roger Thomas Horacek II, Robert Shane and his wife, Rebecca and Rodney Lee Horacek

One great-niece, Elise Marie Horacek

Her mother in law, Adell Jeffries of Mt. Vernon

Brother in law, Roger H. Jeffries and wife, Rita of Texas

Sister in law, Marcia Utley of Mt. Vernon

And several aunts, uncles and cousins and her little Bad Dog “Gizmo” the shiatsu.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 am Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 E. 4th Mt. Vernon, Indiana with Reverend Ronald Myers officiating. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.

Friends may call 4 pm until 8 pm Tuesday, November 20, 2007 and from 9 am until service time, Wednesday, November 21, 2007 at the funeral home.
