JR Bridgeman

JR Bridgeman, 87, of Carmi passed away on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at his residence. He was born in Monticello, KY on July 12, 1929 the son of John W. and Josie Belle (Harmon) Bridgeman. He married Joyce (Wilborn) Moore on March 3, 1981. He worked for 50 years at Bi Petro.

JR is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joyce Bridgeman; a son, Bill and Diania Bridgeman, of Grayville; two daughters, Tamla Jae Bridgeman, of Texas and Debra Jean Smith, of Noble, IL; two step-sons, Brian Moore, of Loveland, OH and Bruce Wilborn, Norfolk, MA; a brother George and Sandra Bridgeman, of Indianapolis, IN; two grandchildren, Brian and Lindsey Bridgeman and Josh and Teresa Bridgeman; and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by six brothers, Glen, Chester, Kelley, Robert, Johnnye, and OD Bridgeman; and three sisters, Hollis Webb, Artie Bridgeman, and Lois Noland.

Funeral Services for JR Bridgeman, 87 of Carmi will be at 12:00 pm, Friday, September 16, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Mike Fields officiating. Burial will be in Little Wabash Cemetery in Crossville with Military Rites by Carmi VFW and American Legion. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 16, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until time of the service at 12:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in JR's memory to the Carmi American Legion and VFW and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
