Joy Edwards

Joy Edwards, 87, of Norris City passed away at 1:40 a.m., Monday, May 25, 2015 at Wabash Christian Retirement Center in Carmi. She was born April 8, 1928 in Omaha, IL the daughter of Thomas and Grace (Wilson) Stovall. Joy married Densil Edwards on September 1, 1950. She was a 1946 graduate of Norris City High School, a homemaker and had attend the Norris City Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Joy is survived by her husband of 64 years, Densil of Norris City and a son, Mark Edwards of Norris City. She was preceded in death by a son, Michael R. Edwards on April 15, 2001.

Funeral Services for Joy Edwards, 87, of Norris City will be at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Burial will be in Village Cemetery near Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
