Johnny L. Brewster, 60 of Carmi, passed away Saturday August 6, 2016 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born July 29, 1956 in Pontiac, the son of Glen and Wilma (Stang) Brewster. He married Tammy Brassard on October 13, 1989.
Johnny was a laborer in the construction business.
He is survived by his wife Tammy; his mother, Wilma Brewster, daughters, Sarah Lynn, Shela M. and Shelby J. Brewster; a step son, Jeremy Haddon; 14 grandchildren, brothers, Dan and Rick Brewster; sisters, Loretta (Jim) Costello, Paula (Tom) Scott and Kathy (Don) Zeller. He was preceded in death by his son, Corey Brewster, daughter Randi Brewster and his father.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday August 12, 2016 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Little Prairie Cemetery near Maunie. Visitation will be from Noon until service time. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
