John Smith

John W. Smith, age 67 of Mt. Vernon, IN died Sunday afternoon March 25, 2012 at his home. He was born January 15, 1945 in Littleton, NH the son of Warren and Willian Smith. He married Pamela Gayle Adamson on May 5, 1969.


John had worked as a laborer for Local 561. He was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the American Legion and V.F.W.


He is survived by 3 daughters and sons-in-law, Shannon and Sean Scully of Louisiana, Jennifer and Dwayne Woolsey of Princeton and Misti West of Mt. Vernon; 8 grandchildren and 1 step grandchild. A thank-you to Michael Adamson his nephew for all of his help during their fathers illness. He is also survived by his companion Juanita Foster. The family would like to thank Billy Robb for his friendship to their father.
