John Rau

John Anthony Rau, 67, of Carmi, passed away on Tuesday, December 28, 2021.  He was born on March 11, 1954, the son of Kurt and Katherine (McGinley) Rau.  John proudly served his country in the United States Army.  He enjoyed working on model trains and woodworking.  He was also an avid sports fan.

John is survived by his siblings, David (Tonie) Rau of Los Lunas, NM,  Scott Rau of Palm Bay, FL, and Katherine (James) Welch of Palm Bay, FL; several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews.

A memorial service for John Rau, will be held at a later date. Stendeback Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
