John Bell

John L. Bell, age 56 of Eldorado, died Friday morning September 13, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born January 26, 1957 in Carmi, the son of Clifford and Ruth Marie (Hamblin) Bell.

John was a journeyman, wire man affiliated with I.B.E.W. Local 1516 of Jonesboro, AR.

He is survived by his parents, Clifford (Helen) Bell of Carmi and Ruth Marie Hamblin Bell of Harrisburg; his daughter, Amanda Ledbetter of Princeton, IN; a grandson, Tucker Ledbetter; 4 brothers, Ron, Doug, Tracy and Jeff; 2 sisters, Sue and Marcia; aunts and uncles and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Bradley Bell.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday September 17, 2013 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery near New Haven. Visitation is from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
