Joe Toler

Donald "Joe" Toler 68, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana died August 5, 2007 at his residence.

Joe was born April 7, 1939, in Cobden, Illinois to the late Homer M. and Edith (Mendenall) Toler. He married Janet R. Smith in 1961 and had three children. He was self employed in produce sales and retired in 2004. Joe was a member of Mt. Zion General Baptist Church in Wadesville, Indiana. He loved spending time with his family and was an avid outdoorsman; He was a big NASCAR fan, and enjoyed designing and building log cabins, including his own home. He also loved to refurbish old trucks.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Janet R. (Smith) Toler

Jamie Espenlaub and husband Nathan, of Evansville, Indiana,
Jessica Mohr of Mt. Vernon, Indiana,and
Casey Toler of West Frankfort, Illinois


Funeral Services will be 1:00 pm, Tuesday, August 7, 2007 at Austin Funeral Home,
1330 E. 4th Mt. Vernon, Indiana with Reverend Rick Sellers and Reverend Carroll Toler officiating. Burial will be in Zion Lippe United Church of Christ Cemetery in Mt. Vernon.

Friends may call 10 am until service time, Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at the funeral home.
