Joann Gibson

Joann Gibson, 79, of Enfield passed away at 1:22 p.m., Monday, July 13, 2015 at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado. She was born in White County, IL on August 7, 1935 the daughter of Willis Britt and Alma Fancis (Healy) Cusic. Joann married Don F. Gibson, Sr. on June 30, 1966 and he preceded her in death on January 15, 2015. She worked along side Don in mowing and maintaining the Indian Creek Township cemeteries. Joann also raised livestock and attended Ditney Ridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are a sister, Dorothy Wheeler of Norris City; two step-sons, Donald F. Gibson, Jr. and wife Virginia of Murfreesboro, TN and Steve Gibson and wife Kelly of Jacksonville, FL; three step-grandchildren, Brian, Jerod and Chris Gibson; a niece, Vonda Vineyard and husband Dean of Enfield; a nephew, David Wheeler and wife Becky of Norris City; two great nieces, Sarah Vineyard and Lexi Wheeler; and a great nephew, Dakota Wheeler.

Funeral Services for Joann Gibson, 79, of Enfield will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Pastor Chris Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Old Sharon Cemetery near Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Tuesday from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.
