Jo Pollard

Jo Pollard, 87, of Carmi, passed away at 4:10 a.m., Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville. She was born in Carmi on August 15, 1930 the daughter of Gilbert and Jessie (Puntney) Lee. Jo married Don G. Pollard on September 19, 1952 and he preceded her in death on February 15, 1990. She had worked as a secretary for the White County Farm Bureau and Federal Land Bank Association. Jo was a member of the First Christian Church of Carmi for 60 years. Jo loved animals.

Jo is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Gina and Jeff King, of Carmi; cousin, Talmage (Charlotte) Lee, of Gentryville, IN; and a special friend, Pat Duckworth, of Carmi.

Funeral services for Jo Pollard, 87, of Carmi will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in White County Memorial Garden in Carmi. Visitation will be on Thursday from 9:00 a.m. until service time at Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Jo's memory to Pets at Risk and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
