Jessie James

Jessie Ann James, 63 of Eldorado and formerly of Carmi, passed away Monday morning February 16, 2015 at Magnolia Shelter Care in Eldorado. She was born June 18, 1951 in Mt. Vernon IN, the daughter of Jessie Andrew and Evelyn (Bootsie Sturgal) James.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Carmi IL.
Jessie Ann was preceded in death by her mother, stepfather Darrell Lumb, grandparents, aunts and uncles.
She is survived by father Jessie James and stepmother, Geneva James, one sister Robbie Lumb Kramer (Bill), a nephew Cole, stepbrother Tony, aunts Marilyn Staley of Mascoutah, Sally Riley of Carmi, and Louisa Hart of Evansville, uncles Bill Sturgal of Arizona, Don Sturgal of Florida and Floyd James of Arkansas and many cousins.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, April 18 at 1p.m. at Stendeback Family Funeral Home, Carmi IL. Reverend Bud Peyton will be officiating.
