Jessie Harris

Jessie M. Thorbecke Harris, 63 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Saturday February 27, 2015 at her home. She was born September 12, 1951 in Rockport, IN the daughter of William F. and Mildred I. (Stepro) Harris.

Jessie had worked as a maintenance tech at GE for over 20 years. She loved her family, but really loved her animals. She had volunteered at the humane society. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery and reading.

She is survived by one son, Daniel E (Yvette) Thorbecke of Mt. Vernon; one daughter, Stacey L. (Todd) Cundiff of Princeton; four grandchildren, Tabitha Collins, Whitney and Nicole Thorbecke and Cullen Cundiff; two great-grandchildren, Rylee and Peyton Cundiff; two brothers, William Harris of Evansville and Samuel Harris of Booneville; three sisters, Tillie Ann Allen of MO, Frances J Hatcher of Evansville and Bessi M. Andress of AL. She was preceded in death by her son, Thomas William Thorbecke; two brothers, George and John Harris and one sister, Donna S. Herrin.
