Jessi Evans, 17, of Norris City was tragically taken from us on August 27, 2012. She was born February 10, 1995 in Fairfield, IL. Jessi was entering her senior year of high school at NCOE.
Jessi was a talented artist and loving aunt with many aspirations. She is loved and will be missed by the community, her friends and family. She was a wonderful light to all who met her, and her smile could brighten a room.
Jessi is survived by her mother Kris Evans, sister Megan Evans, nephew Miles Herrington, brother Ryan Evans, grandparents Jolean and Wesley Buzun, and grandparents Linda and Randal Godfrey.
Funeral Services for Jessi Evans, 17, of Norris City will be held Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 1:30 p.m. at Crossroads Bible Church in Norris City with Mike Fields officiaiting. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 PM at Crossroad Bible Church and again Saturday from 12:30 until the service at 1:30. Memorial contributions may be to the family in Jessi's memory at Bantera Bank in Norris City. Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City is in charge of arrangements.
