Jerry Jordan

Jerry L. Jordan, 83, of Springerton passed away at 1:53 a.m., Monday, September 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Carmi, IL on October 4, 1937 the son of Wilford and Ruth E. (Doshier) Jordan.  Jerry married Carol Lambke on September 29, 1973 and she survives.  Jerry worked as a bus dirver of the City of Chicago.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Carol; two daughters, Melanie Jordan of Wyoming and Jamee (Jesse) Enlow of Broughton; a son, Errott Jordan of Chicago;  eight grandchildren, Brandon, Cierra, Shannon, Callie, Matt, Brett, Shawn and Jake; five great-grandchildren, Elisha, Zayden, Millie, Ali and Asher; a nephew Mike Jordan; and close friend Billy Jo McKitrick.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilford Jordan and Ruth Brown, and four brothers, Wayne Jordan, Cecil Lloyd Jordan and two in infancy.

Services for Jerry L. Jordan, 83, of Springerton will be held at a later date. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
