Jennie May

Jennie Lee May, 63, of Norris City passed away at 6:53 pm, Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Charlier Hospice Center in Evansville, IN. She was born in New Haven, IL on September 10, 1953 the daughter of Charles Woodrow and Vonda Lee (Wicker) Bean. She was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and grandma. A special thank you to Terah Jolley.

Jennie is survived by her husband, Darrell May; four sons, Bobby and Melanie Jolley of Norris City, Chris Jolley of Norris City, Ronnie and Mindy Jolley of Carmi, and David and Terah Jolley of Norris City; two brothers, Jim and Frankie Bean of West Frankfort, IL and Jack and Gail Bean of New Haven, IL; a half brother, Lester Lawson of Sapulpa, OK; two half sisters, Karen Cashmore of Carmi and Loraine Roark of Wilmington, IL; a sister-in-law and special angel, Susan Bean of Norris City; 14  grandchildren. Daryl, Savannah, Bryce, Aryon, Paige, Ebany (Honey Honey), Lacie, Nevaeh, Kaitlyn, Alex, Kyle, Kelsey, Ben, and Braden; two special sons, Alex (Jena) Brock and Mike (Pumpkin) Youngblood; her dog, Pooter May. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Vonda Bean, her brother, Roy Bean, two sisters, Kathy Bertlozzi and Mary Lesniewski.

Visitation for Jennie May, 63, of Norris City will be held Sunday, December 11, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City. Memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorial contributions may be made in Jennie’s memory to Campbell Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
