Biography
Jeffrey Jack Tate, 58 of Grayville, died Tuesday morning July 1, 2014 in Grayville. He was born on June 9, 1956 in Pomona, CA, the son of Jack and Lucy Ann (Carey) Tate.
Mr. Tate enjoyed his family and friends; fishing and riding motorcycles. He had a great sense of humor and loved attending the River Church. He was a Coal Miner.
He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Seth & Melinda Tate of Crossville, Clayton & Alexandria Tate of Owensville, IN, and Jack Tate of Evansville; three grandchildren, Lillian and Addison Tate and Sydney Burnett; and one brother and sister-in-law, Andrew & Stacey Tate of Grayville. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be from 4-7pm on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the First Christian Church in Grayville. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements. On-line condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
