Jason Dodd

Jason C. Dodd, 77, of Enfield passed away at 3:43 a.m., Friday, April 2, 2021. He was born in Eldorado, IL on October 17, 1943 the son of William Wesley and Mary Ethel (Bartley) Dodd.  Jason married Janet Sue Wait in 1977.  He had worked as a saw operator for Builder Products and at John Rice Motors.

Jason is survived by his wife of 43 years, Janet; two sons, Jason Dodd, Jr, and Lyle Dodd; a daughter, Carol; a step-daughter, Tina Holmes; two step-sons, Gary and Gordon Loveridge; 10 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; four sisters, Shirley Ann Perez, Frances Aldridge, Fern Stewart and Ruth Chaffin; and a brother, Harlee Dodd.  He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert "Bob" Dodd and Junior Dodd and two sisters, Marie Melton and Lucille Hays.

A visitation will be held for Jason C. Dodd, 77, of Enfield on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.at Stendeback Funeral Home in Enfield. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Jason's memory to Stendeback Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.  In accordance with CDC and IDPH recommendations mask will be required and social distancing will be observed.
