Janice Dale

Janice Ann (Felty) Dale, 81 of Carmi, passed away on Monday May 24, 2021.  She was born on June 23, 1939.  Janice graduated from Enfield High School  in 1957.  She married C.E. Dale on August 1, 1959 and he preceded her in death on February 28, 2021. Janice worked as a waitress for more than 20 years at Two Tony's Smorgasbord.

She is survived by her children, Kelly (Carrie) Dale of Bloomington, IL., Kendall (Mendy) Dale of Carmi, IL. and Katrena (Mark) Koontz also of Carmi, IL.; four grandchildren, Alex and Nolin Dale, Keely Koontz,  and Payton Dale; a brother, Darrell Nelson of Carmi, IL.; and a sister, Velva Wessel. In addition to her husband,  she is preceded in death by parents; her grandparents, Ferdy and Elsie (Pollard) Felty who she was raised by; and a brother Larry Keith Wessel.

Funeral Services for Janice Ann Dale, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday May 27, 2021 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, with burial at North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Family and Friends may visit from 11:00 a.m. till time of service. Contributions can be made in Janice's memory to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, who is in charge of arrangements.
