Jane Fey

Audrey Jane Fey, 91 of Carmi, died Wednesday May 21, 2014 at her home. She was born on April 6, 1923 in Carmi, the daughter of George B. and Audrey (Poole) Bayley. She married Arthur Fey on September 21, 1962 and he preceded her in death in 1989.

Mrs. Fey was a bookkeeper at Southern Illinois Sand at Chester before her retirement. She was a member of HEA, Beta Sigma Phi and Our Saviour Lutheran Church in Carmi.

She is survived by nieces, nephews and cousins, including Alice Bryant of Carmi and a special friend Alice Dial of Carmi. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas Bayley and Jack Bayley.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. on Tuesday May 27, 2014 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with Pastor Dean Spooner officiating. Burial will be in St. Johns Lutheran Cemetery at Chester.
