James Travelstead

James G. “Truck” Travelstead, 59 of Carmi, passed away Sunday December 17, 2017 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. He was born November 12, 1958 in Carmi, the son of James Gilbert and Thelma (Jordan) Travelstead.
Truck had worked in the Oilfield.
He is survived by his sons, Derek and Jeffrey; brothers, Richard Travelstead; Ronald and Roger Riley; sisters, Darla A. Martin and Elaine Garcia; two grandsons also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, his daughter, Holly Travelstead and a sister, Sherry Blake.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Kuykendall Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Thursday. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
