James Bratcher

James Ronnie Bratcher, 78 of Carmi, passed away Friday morning February 9, 2018 at Nature Trails Health Care Center in Mt. Vernon, IL. He was born July 1, 1939 in Harrisburg, the son of James H. and Clarice (Brooks) Bratcher. He was married to Ellen Williams.

Ron had loved working in the Oil Field. He had also worked at B&W in Mt Vernon, IN. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

He is survived by his wife Ellen; son, Cameron Bratcher, daughters, Rhonda Beason, Rita Elliott, Jessica Bratcher, Rebecca Carter and Cheri Daniels; seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his sister, Patty Jo Browning.

Graveside services with military rites will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday March 31 at Enfield Cemetery with Carmi American Legion and VFW officiating.. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com. The Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
