James Barger

James D. Barger 67 of Enfield, passed away Thursday morning November 16, 2017 at his home. He was born March 28, 1950 in Enfield, the son of Gilbert and Mary Alice (Poisel) Barger. He married Billie Calkin on November 30, 1973.
James worked at Airtex for 42 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army and served during Vietnam. He was a life member of the V.F.W.
He is survived by his wife, Billie; brothers, John (Stephanie) Barger, Robert (Judy) Barger, and Ron (Sharon) Barger; sisters, Reva (Carroll) Dozier, and Sherri (Ray) Harrison. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Leonard and Donald Barger and sister, Barbara Ann Austin.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday November 20, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Enfield with Rev. Bob Pollard officiating. Burial will be in Enfield Cemetery with graveside military rites by the Carmi American Legion and V.F.W. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday November 19, 2017 at the funeral home.
