James L. "Jim" Aud, 76, of Norris City, passed away Monday, April 2, 2012 at 2:52 pm at Ferrell Hospital in Eldorado, IL. He was born May 24, 1935 in Broughton, IL, the son of Lloyd Herman and Ruby Ann (Wilson) Aud. Jim was a driver for White Brothers Trucking in Wasco, IL and retired from the Teamsters Union.
Jim is survived by his companion of 24 years, Barbara Brooks of Norris City; a daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Dennis Owen of Broughton; a sister, Betty Cross; a brother, David Mark Aud and two grandchildren, Jennifer Denise Owen and Dennis Ray Owen, Jr. and his wife Sarah.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Roy Edward Aud and Richard Wilson Aud.
Funeral services for James L. "Jim" Aud will be Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Rev. Rudy Barnett officiating. Burial will be in Powell Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City.
Memorial gifts may be given in Jim's name to St. Jude's and will be accepted at the funeral home.
