Jackie Cummings

Jackie L. Cummings, 52 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Sunday afternoon November 8, 2015 at her home. She was born October 28, 1963 in Detroit, MI the daughter of Maurice Kent and Neva Juanita (Clark) Parrish. She married Lonnie Cummings on April 13, 1988 in Henderson, KY.

Jackie loved her family and enjoyed all of the time she had with her grandchildren. She loved her God and her faith was strong.

She is survived by her husband Lonnie; daughter, Beth Ann Parrish of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren, Avion Collins, Biance, Ayden, Bailey, Brodey and Bradyn Parrish; brother, John Parrish of Mt. Vernon, sisters, Teresa Daniels of Elizabethtown, KY, Georgia Kaiser of New Hamony, Wendy Pilkington and Lisa Hersher both of Mt. Vernon. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her step-father, David Schaeffer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday November 12, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th. St., Mt.Vernon. Visitation will be from Noon until time of services. Burial will be in Bellefontaine Cemetery.
