Ica Howard

Ica Howard, 88, of Broughton passed away Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 7:39 p.m. at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born April 12, 1925 in Hamilton County, IL the daughter of Christopher Columbus and Eliza Jane (Allen) Wheeler. Ica married Eddie Howard on December 3, 1945. She was a farm wife and attended the Norris City Church of God.

Ica is survived by her husband of 67 years, Eddie of Broughton; a daughter and son-in-law, Faye and Dennis Questell of Norris City; two granddaughers, Melissa Questell of Carmi and Denise Gross and her husband Henry David of Norris City; three great-grandchildren, David, Hunter and Daphni Gross; and a sister, Rosa Lee Pool of Broughton.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Stella May Harper and two in infancy and two brothers, Clarence and Sherman Wheeler.

Funeral Services for Ica Howard, 88, of Broughton will be Monday, June 10, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City with Brother Lyle Culp and Pastor Mike Campbell officiating. Burial will be in I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norris City. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home in Norris City on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made in Ica's name to Shriners Hospital for Children, 2001 S Lindbergh Blvd, Frontenac, Missouri 63131 and will be accepted at the funeral home.
