Henry Vaughn

Henry Pleas Vaughn, 77 of Evansville, passed away Saturday morning August 13, 2016 at home. He was born September 8, 1938 in Vienna, IL the son of Curtis C. and Myra June (Vinson) Vaughn.
He was a proud New Harmony High School graduate of the class of 1956. Henry was US Army Veteran and retiree of Babcock & Wilcox and USEC.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years Wanda Sue (Wasson) Vaughn of Evansville, two sons Rick (Tammi) Vaughn and Ross (Jennifer) Vaughn; 3 grandchildren Jenny Vaughn of Birmingham, AL Sara Vaughn and Holden Hunt of Evansville, IN; and 1 sister Charlotte Reynolds of Evansville, IN. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday August 17, 2016 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon, IN with burial in Old Beech Cemetery.
