Helen Cain

Helen Ruth (H.R.) Cain, 73, of Nashville, Georgia formerly of Jasper, IN and Carmi, IL passed away at 6:14 a.m., Sunday, July 24, 2016 at South Georgia Medical Center. She was born in Anna, IL on March 20, 1943 the daughter of Clarence Ford and Zelma Cecil (Montgomery) Campbell. Helen married Thomas E. Cain on June 8,1963 and he preceded her in death on March 11, 2014. She had worked as an office manager at Bradford Machine Shop. Helen was a member of First Baptist Church in Nashville.

Helen is survived two sons, James P. "Jim" Cain of Clarksville, OH and Robert S. "Bob" Cain of Atlanta, GA; a grandson, Shaun P. Cain of Clarksville, OH; a special family friend, Kathryn McClellan of Atlanta, GA; three brothers-in-laws and sisters-in-law, William J. and Nancy Cain of Bolingbrook, IL, John M. and Celia Cain of Homosassa, FL and Roger N. and Rosa Cain of Chicago, IL; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, Donald L. and Joyce Campbell.

Funeral services for Helen Cain, 73, of Nashville, Georgia will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with the Rev. Tim Bell officiating. Burial will be in North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be Saturday, July 30, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. until time of the service at 11:00 a.m. at the Campbell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to First Baptist Church of Nashville, Caring Place, 301 W. Washington Ave., Nashville, GA 31639 and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi.
