Heather Stinson

Heather Stinson, 42 of Carmi, passed away September 8, 2015 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. She was born April 9, 1973 in Olney, IL the daughter of Milburn "Shorty" and Charlotte (Bratcher) Mattingly.

Heather had worked as an LPN. She enjoyed fishing. She had attended Trinity Assembly of God Church in Carmi.

She is survived by her sons, Justin Rutledge of Mt. Vernon, IN, and Shelby and Jerrod Stinson of Carmi; brothers, Michael (Charlie) Mattingly of AR, Chuck Mattingly of Vincennes, IN and Steve Mattingly of AZ; sisters, Margaret Mattingly of Vincennes, IN and Misty (James) Glover of Wadesville. Also survived by her former husband, Joe Stinson

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday September 11, 2015 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th St., Mt. Vernon, IN with Pastor Lee Hicks officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m until time of services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
