Hattie Parks

Hattie M. Parks, 90, of Evansville, IN formerly of Carmi passed away at 6:45 p.m. Saturday, November 2, 2013 at North Park Nursing Home in Evansville. She was born July 29, 1923 in Mill Shoals Township, IL the daughter of Charley and Elizabeth (Stahl) Taylor. Hattie married John L. Parks in 1941 and he preceded her in death on Nov17, 2012. She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Carmi.

She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Floyd and Janice Parks of Newburgh, IN, Ron Parks of Boonville, IN and Jim Parks of Carmi, IL; five grandchildren, Bret (Tammi) Parks, Brian (Julie) Parks, Lana (Mike) Wright, Lindsay Parks, and Kent Parks; and seven great-grandchildren, Peighton Parks, Carson Parks, Austin Wright, Parker Wright, Jace Allen Parks, Brady Puntney and Nick Weems. She was preceded in death by three sisters,

Funeral Sevices for Hattie M. Parks, 90, of Evansville, IN will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Wayne Daniel officiating. Burial will be in North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call at Campbell Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at 2:00 p.m.
