Harold Wolf, Sr

Harold Wayne "Hoots" Wolf, Sr., 71, of Grayville, passed away Saturday, July 14, 2012 at Deaconess Health South Rehabilitation in Evansville, IN. He was born November 13, 1940 in New Harmony, IN, the son of Lloyd and Edna (Ripple) Wolf. Wayne was a U.S. Army veteran and worked for Phillips Township. He was a former member of the Grayville American Legion and Moose Lodge.
Wayne is survived by three daughters, Kathy Kuykendall of Carmi, Debbie McCarty of Somonauk, IL and April Gronewold of McKinney, TX; three sons, Harold Wolf, Jr. of Fairfield, Anthony Wolf of Carmi and Robert Wolf of Evansville, IN; a sister, Phyllis Blackford of Salem; five brothers, Elmer Wolf and Joey Wolf both of Grayville, Butch Wolf of Ina, David Wolf of Smithton, and L.D. Wolf of Carmi; 15 grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Gary and Gordon Wolf.
Graveside funeral services for Harold Wayne "Hoots" Wolf, Sr., 71, of Grayville, will be Thursday, July 19, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Cemetery in Grayville with military rites performed by the Grayville American Legion. Friends are to meet at the cemetery. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
