Harold Bratcher

Harold Timothy “Tim” Bratcher, 52, of Crossville, IL, died Wednesday, September 27, 2006 in Terre Haute, IN from injuries sustained in an accident. Tim was born March 6, 1954 in Mountain Home, Idaho son of Harold and Betty (Mills) Bratcher. He was a Truck Driver with Central Transport. Tim graduated from Southern Illinois University in Carbondale with a degree in Mortuary Science and had practiced as a Funeral Director and Embalmer in Illinois. He was an avid gardener and fisherman and a Ham Radio Operator. Tim and his wife were members of Bethesda Baptist Church in Savah.

He is survived by: his wife, Donna (Weir) Bratcher of Crossville, IL; his parents, Harold and Betty (Mills) Bratcher of Mt. Vernon, IL; daughters, Melanie Kyle and her husband Erik of Toledo, OH, Elizabeth Sisson and her husband Dave of Evansville and Nikki Englebright and her husband Kyle of Crossville, IL; 2 sisters, Vicki Hayes and her husband Rev. Randy Hayes of Mt. Vernon, IL and Rebecca Frisby and her husband Jerry of Texico, IL; his brother, Michael Bratcher and his wife Jana of Mt. Vernon, IL; grandchildren, Skylar King, Zoe Kyle, Natalie King, Ella Jo Kyle and a grandson to be born any day, Drake Timothy King.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM, Monday, October 2, 2006 at Austin Funeral Home, 1330 East Fourth Street, Mt. Vernon, IN. Friends may call from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to his church.
