Guy Moore

Guy Davis Moore, 47, Carmi, passed away at 1:54 a.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at his residence. He was born in Carmi on May 5, 1972 the son of Glen Davis and Bonnie Louise (Rush) Moore. He had worked for the Village of Norris City. Guy enjoyed hunting, fishing and 3D shoots.

Guy is survived by his companion, Elizabeth Schmidt; son, Gary Davis Alan Moore, of Carmi; two brothers, Jim Rush and Delbert Hobson both of Carmi; sister, Glenda Smith, Mt. Vernon, IL; nieces and nephews, Amy Rush, Crystal Bennett and Brittany Franks, all of Carmi, Justin Pierce and Lucas Eastep, both of Mt. Vernon, IL,  Eric Pierce, of Shawneetown, Johanna Wiegel, of Olney, Felica Brown, of Dale and Megan Fechter; and several aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Glen and Bonnie Moore, a twin brother, Gary Moore and a sister, Elizabeth Fechter.

Funeral service for Guy Davis Moore, will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday, December 13, 2019 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery in Norris City. Visitation will be on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until service time at Campbell Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Guy's memory to Brownsville School and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi who is in charge of arrangements.
