Gregory Swalls

Gregory D. Swalls, 43 of Carmi, passed away Wednesday morning June 1, 2016 at Hamilton Memorial Hospital in McLeansboro. He was born September 15, 1972 in West Frankfort, IL the son of Kenneth Dale and Carol (Large) Swalls, Sr.
Greg had worked for Royal Drilling in Crossville. He enjoyed deer hunting and finding arrowheads.
He is survived by his longtime companion, Nan Hui Usery; daughters, Ashlee and Mallory Swalls; son, Austin Combs; sisters, Kendra Risinger, Kristy Eagan, Barbara Swalls, Angela Swalls, and Amy Hinote; brothers, James “Jim” Swalls and Kenneth Dale Swalls Jr.; granddaughter, Hensleigh Combs. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Steve Eugene and Thomas Eugene White and step-father, Randall Williams.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday June 3, 2016 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Carmi with burial in Kuykendall Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
