Gloria Talley, 68, of Carmi, passed away Tuesday, February 3, 2015 at 5:54 a.m. at Deaconess Hospice Center in Evansville, IN. She was born July 14, 1946 in Benton, IL, the daughter of William Virgil and Arzella (Graham) Lampley. Gloria married Michael Parke Talley May 2, 2001. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Assembly of God in Carmi.
Gloria is survived by her husband of 13 years, Michael Talley of Carmi; a daughter, Lisa Graham of Princeton, IN; six sons, James S. (Patty) Wilson of Fordland, IL, Robert W. (Sheila Roach) Wilson of Benld, IL, Adam (Kelly) Talley of Lansing, MI, Anthony (Karlyn) Smith of Mt. Pleasant, MI, John Turner, and Michael Ross Talley of Shepherd, MI; a sister, Linda Boren of Carmi; a brother, Burton (Glenna) Lampley of Pensacola, FL; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Daniel Allen Bain; and a brother-in-law, Alonzo "Junior" Boren.
Funeral services for Gloria Talley, 68, of Carmi, will be held on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Pastor Lee Hicks officiating. Burial will be in North Maple Ridge Cemetery in Carmi. Friends may call on Thursday, from 4:00 p.m until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made in Gloria's name to Deaconess Hospice Center and will be accepted at Campbell Funeral Home.
