Ginger Sanders, 69, of Carmi, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at 9:10 a.m. at her residence. She was born May 8, 1943 in Smackover, Arkansas, the daughter of Luther and Annie Lucille (Brown) Vines. Ginger married Larry Wayne Sanders January 14, 1961 and he preceded her in death August 10, 2007. She owned and operated Ginger's Closet and was a member of New Beginning Church of God in Carmi.
Ginger is survived by her mother, Lucille Vines of Carmi; two daughters and a son-in-law, Vickie Fulkerson of Crossville and Debbie and Kevin Voelker of Omaha; a son, Jason D. Sanders of Carmi; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Tommy Coke of Carmi; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Phillip and Sue Vines of Carmi, George and Linda Vines of Norris City and Donald Vines of Mt. Vernon, IN; 10 grandchildren, April Stephens, Mindy (Ronnie) Jolley, Randy Flowers, Jennie Flowers, Josh Barton, Angie Flowers, Amy Schneider, Jaylyn Sanders, Dustin Edwards, Nick Voelker and Jacob Sanders; 20 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
Funeral services for Ginger Sanders, 69, of Carmi, will be held Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi with Rev. Keith Moore officiating. Burial will be in Kuykendall Cemetery near Carmi. Friends may call on Saturday after 9:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
