Gerry Ziegler

Anna Geraldine Ziegler, age 83, of Mt. Vernon, died early Tuesday morning August 11, 2009, at Deaconess Hospice in Evansville. She was born August 17, 1925, in Evansville, the daughter of Tracy and Anna (Issac) Booth. She married John Henry Ziegler and he preceded her in death on January 28, 2001.


Mrs. Ziegler was a homemaker and member of Trinity United Church of Christ in Mt. Vernon.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, David and Andrea Ziegler of Mt. Vernon; one daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Stephen Goedde of Evansville; four grandchildren, Sarah and Michelle Ziegler, Lori Johnson and Kyle Goedde; two great-grandchildren, Savannah Goedde and Hannah Johnson; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Jack and Bernadine Booth of Rancho Cordova, Calif., and Roy and Jackie Booth of Sacramento, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband and one brother, Willard Booth.


Private funeral services will be held at Bellefontaine Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Austin~Stendeback Family Funeral Home at 1330 E. 4th Street, Mt. Vernon. Online condolences may be left at austinfuneralhome.com.
