George Brumley

George Albert Brumley, 72 of Mount Vernon, passed away Thursday morning January 19, 2017 at the Mt. Vernon Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born May 13, 1944 in Evansville, the son of Floyd and Mildred Marie (Brakie) Rowe.
George was a retired Master Electrician. He served in the United States Army 101st Airborne Unit. He loved his family.
He is survived by his daughters, Kerri Lyn Stewart and Kimberly Brumley; grandchildren, Chelsea R., Wesley R. and Lindsey M. Timmons, Coreena R., Clarissa M. and Cyra L. Brandenstein.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday January 26, 2017 at the Mount Vernon General Baptist Church with Rev.Matt Watson officiating. Burial will be immediately following at Black Chapel Cemetery where military rites will be conducted by Owen Dunn Post # 5.
