Gary Snelling

Gary L. Snelling, age 54 of Mt. Vernon, died Thursday evening January 24, 2013 at Deaconess Hospital. He was born July 6, 1958 at Jeffersonville, IN the son of Clarence Emmitt Snelling and Eara Mae Shoemake.

He is survived by 2 daughters, Donna Pope and Donita; 1 son, Billy Little; 1 brother, Bill Snelling; 2 sisters, Sue Woolsey and Peggy Spellman; several grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his mother and 2 brothers, Tommy and Danny.

Funeral services, 3 p.m. on Tuesday January 29, 2013 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon with burial in Blacks Cemetery. Visitation from noon until services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
