Frank "Eddie" Eaton, 49 of Mt. Vernon, passed away Monday July 17, 2017 at his home. He was born November 17, 1967 in Evansville, the son of William and Carolyn (Shahan) Eaton. He married Rita Bowling on January 18, 2008.
Eddie was a Maintenance Technician at Hart and Cooley. He enjoyed working on lawnmowers, tending his flower garden and was a huge Alabama Football Fan.
He is survived by his wife, Rita; sons, Daniel (Sarah) Eaton, Frank (Jessica) Eaton, Brian (Christine) Eaton and Chris (Shawna) Bowling; daughter, Courtney (Carlos) Claybourn; 14 grandchildren, brother, Billy (Patty) Eaton; sisters, Donna (Jim) Brauser and Teresa (Brett LeClere) Davis; and his mother-in-law, Ruth Bowling. He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, Bobby Eaton.
Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. on Friday July 21, 2017 at the Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. on Friday. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
