Fannie Burnett

Fannie Pearl (Travelstead) Burnett, 66, of Griffin, IN passed away Tuesday morning December 15, 2015 at the New Harmony Healthcare Center surrounded by family. Fannie was born to Joseph and Margaret Travelstead on April 12, 1949 in New Haven, IL.
She worked in housekeeping for over 35 years, and considered her clients family. Fannie loved family get togethers, cooking, and fishing.

She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Henry, her son Donald Travelstead (Beth) of New Harmony, IN, daughter Ruth Miley of Griffin, IN. Grandchildren Phillip Miley, Nika Miley, and Travis Travelstead, all of Griffin. Jenifer Travelstead of Bluford, IL, Beau Hunt of Evansville, IN, and Scott Formanack of Mesa, AZ., 6 Great grandchildren, and countless neices and nephews. Fannie is also survived by two sisters, Elizabeth Travelstead and Anna Young, both of New Haven, IL., and a special sister in-law Cathy Travelstead of Norris City, IL. She was preceeded in death by her mother Margaret Stallings, father Joseph Travelstead, sisters Wilma Jean Trageser & Florence Travelstead, and by brothers Jim, Jack, Tom, Joe, and Pete Travelstead.

Funeral services will be held at Noon on Friday December 18, 2015 at Stendeback Family Funeral Home in Mt. Vernon. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services. Online condolences may be left at stendebackfamilyfuneralhome.com
