Everett "Moose" James, 55, passed away Sunday, October 12, 2014 at 12:30 a.m. at Phoenix Rehab and Nursing in Carmi. He was born April 6, 1959 in Carmi, the son of Everett Cloyd and Karen Sue (Crawford) James.
Surviving are his father and step-mother, Everett and Joan James of Carmi; a brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Tabatha James of Grayville, IL; a sister, Karen Christine Jones of Sheriden, WY; nine nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles, Sherry and Bob Phillips, Lanna Crawford, Jerry and Jeanie Crawford, Rodney and Jenny Crawford, Julius and Arvy James, Clarence and Peggy James, Edgar James and Claude and Pat James. He was preceded in death by his mother, a sister, Tammy Crawford and nephew, Luke Crawford.
Graveside funeral services and burial for Everett "Moose" James, 55 of Carmi, will be Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Marshall Ferry Cemetery in Dog Town with Rev. Keith Moore officiating. There will be no visitation and you are asked to meet at the cemetery.
Memorial gifts may be given in Moose James name to Campbell Funeral Home to help with expenses. Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi is in charge of arrangements.
